Policies

We want all of our guests to experience a pleasant stay at our hotel, so we have some policies in place to help ensure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable stay with us.

Night Policy

To ensure the safety of our hotel and other guests, we only allow checked in guests in the hotel after 11pm. If you are entering the hotel after 11pm, we ask that you present your room key at reception and confirm your details.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible rates can be cancelled free of charge up to 4pm day prior to arrival. Cancellations after this time, or if you fail to arrive, will be subject to a charge of the first night of the stay.

Advance purchase rates are pre-paid, non-refundable or transferable on booking.

Room Occupancy Policy

There is a maximum 2 adults in any bedroom. There is a maximum 2 adults and 2 children in a family room (two double beds).

Check-In Policy

The same credit/debit card used for payment of the reservation, must be presented on check in with a valid ID to confirm your identity and ensure no fraudulent cards are being used. If you do not have this card with you on arrival, you will be asked to pay using a credit/debit card you do have with you in person and the original payment card will be refunded.

Pre-authorisation Policy

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the guest card prior to arrival to ensure it is a valid card and has sufficient funds in the account in order to pay for the reservation in the case of a cancellation outside of the policy time or non-arrival charge. The card will only ever be pre-authorised for the first night of the stay. Pre-authorisations will take place anytime from 7 days prior to arrival. If you then cancel the booking within the policy time, the pre-authorisation will be cancelled and release back in to your account (this can take between 3 and 10 working days to show back in the account).

Parking Policy

Car parking is at St. John’s Car Park adjacent to the hotel for a reduced rate of £6.00 per 24 hours. The car park cannot be placed on to your bill to pay as this is operated/owned by another company. You can request a reimbursement receipt in the car park itself when paying if needed. Please get your ticket validated at reception to receive the reduced rate, then pay in the car park direct on floor 1 or 1A.

Early Check Out Policy

There will be an early departure fee of £50.00 added to your bill if you are on a flexible rate basis and depart the hotel before your booked check out date.
