Here’s a list of the famous stop off’s, where they are and how you can get to them on your next visit…
1. Penny Lane
The first stop on the guy's tour was the famous Penny Lane! Located outside the city centre, and one of the most major stops in the Magical Mystery Tour, a Beatles themed bus tour of Liverpool, means you can visit the famous street, which is also home to Paul’s former barbershop.
2. 20 Forthlin Road
Next stop on the tour was 20 Forthlin Road, where Paul McCartney lived before rising to fame with The Beatles. Now a National Trust property, fans can visit the home in South Allerton by booking a tour with National Trust.
3. Philharmonic Dining Rooms
The final stop on the tour was Philharmonic Dining Rooms, John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliff’s former ‘local’ where Paul McCartney performed for a stunned crowd when he and James dropped by. Located right in the heart of Liverpool, the Phil, as it is known by John Lennon is within walking distance of the city centre.
4. The Famous Beatles Statue
Despite not actually doing a drive-by of the famous four, Paul and James made the time to drop by the iconic Beatles statue for a quick selfie too. The statue sits on Liverpool’s Waterfront, by the Royal Liver Building and is within walking distance of the city centre, so you can snap your very own selfie with the Fab Four.
